My favourite Burnley game by some distance. It’s hard to imagine if I’ll ever enjoy going and watching a game of football as much as I did that night versus Tottenham. That’s quite sad when I think about it. That has to be my favourite Burnley game too, after the second goal went in you just KNEW t...

Should be a points deduction for both teams if the Premier League finds that the rules have been broken. If what SA has said is correct, West Ham agreed to transfer RS with an agreement that he be left out of the game last night. That appears to assist West Ham in their pursuit of 3 points. Similar...

Tonight’s team talk was sorted a couple of weeks ago when OGS said that they needed to play their game in hand to give a true reflection of where they were in the league table, intimating that it is a nailed on 3 points for them.

It's a difficult one for some to get their heads round given it hasn't really ever happened like this at Burnley. Previously major shareholders have sold their shares to existing directors as was the case, as an example, when Bob Lord was on his way out, for very different reasons of course. I thin...

Mike Garlick has not taken a penny in return for the countless hours of work he has done for the club. Due to the incredible success that we’ve enjoyed under his tenure he is in a fortunate position where the value of his shares has increased significantly. He will therefore benefit from this, in t...

I’d bin VAR, refs don’t get a huge amount wrong in the main and neither do linesmen. Some of the offsides correctly given are incredible when the game is moving so fast. VAR is only enjoyable when you’re on the wrong end of a decision and there’s a chance of overturning it but it sucks all the spont...

Refs back refs, they’re so arrogant that they all stick together. It isn’t often you see the refs on tv criticise a decision.

Mee has jumped for the ball, missed it and through his jump has blocked the keeper from reaching the ball. Even thought is not deliberate he's impeded their keeper which is a foul. Now the fact the keeper has desperately come out a long way jumping through a crowd of players also gives for a bit of...

The way it will work, clarethomer, is that several of the players can be sold. Let's say £40m for Tarks, £40m for Dwight, £40m for Nick Pope. That's £120m of "assets" from just 3 players there. Sell them, there's only a shortfall of £80m to cover from everything else - and then the new investors wi...

I don’t think for one minute that Tarks would sign for a championship club just to immediately sign for Man U. If that was the case though Tarks doesn’t have a £50m clause to go to a championship club so the price is £100m to go via that route!

It’s actually very simple to have an online survey to query season ticket holders on a game by game basis to find out if they’re interested or not... those who are go in the ballot those who aren’t, won’t. Then a little bit of logic to make the process fair by not permitting more than 2 or perhaps ...

Not as easy as that, there a quite a few of us who can’t make midweek games because we travel (in my case 450 mile round trip), especially if they change kick off to 5:30pm for a PPV game and we’re working. Just not feasible. But that is why it will probably be a binary choice, you either want to b...

If it went to a ballot you’d have to apply anyway. The club could ask season ticket holders one question, do you want to be included in a ballot for all games. They have their cash and can take it if they get drawn out. Trying to get cash out of people who have been drawn out would be impossible, s...
