Re: Nottingham Forest tweet
Just seen the Coventry “winner”. The truth is, VAR is an abomination, and most issues stem from that. How wrong and heartbreaking for the CCFC fans to celebrate the greatest ever comeback then have it snatched away, after the officials had given the goal. Offside was never meant to be judged by a t...

He's nowhere near Defour but he's a very different type of player so it doesn't really matter. He's the best we've had since Defour, that's for sure.

Only saw the news this morning. Only saw him play right at the end and remembered him most for his odd name (to a 9 year old). Always one of the players my dad and uncles would talking of in the most glowing terms. Hope he enjoyed the game this afternoon from on high.

Re: Sheffield United v Burnley - Player Ratings
Well the only downside to this game is that we already know we're way better than championship teams, which Sheffield Utd undoubtedly are, so we haven't learned a lot. That said, you can only beat what's in front of you and apart from a couple of early scares and a couple of attempts to gift them go...

Re: So do you drop Muric after two massive costly howlers?
Only the athletic could string out an article about how some players control the ball. Mad that people still pay for that. Anyway, as with almost all Muric's errors, it comes down to poor decision making. The time to decide to not try and control a football with your studs is on the edge of your 6 y...

Pretty sure Bellamy is just not wasting his time and getting into trouble giving refs grief. His post-game interviews have been all about saying the right things and being as non-controversial as possible.

This is generally because in recent years we've reached the limit of what we are likely to achieve as a club. I've seen us go from the 4th division to European football, win at Wembley twice, win promotion from each FL division, win the Championship twice, once with over 100 points playing unbelieva...

When it started tipping down I said we'll need to be really xareful now, no dicking about at the back on this surface. About 2 mins later we gave them an equaliser. Shame as we'd been the better side for most of the game, albeit not saying much as Brighton are a pretty turgid team. Muric 5 played we...

You could see exactly what Muric wad trying to do from the angle behind the goal. He waited for the incisive pass to come available, which it did as odobert moved off his man and opened things up. Unnecessary at that time in the game, should have just launched it down the pitch. I'd have more sympat...

It's never a red card that, doesn't deny a goalscoring opportunity, it's just a mistimed tackle, a yellow at worst.
It's Oliver though, who consistently makes wrong big decisions because he doesn't give himself time to think about the situation. Proper toaster pocket ref.

I do genuinely believe that last season was purely down to the ethos Dyche has imbedded in the key players in the squad. This next season will be a true indicator. I see he tried to make give Brighton a penalty out of nothing tonight. Anyone watching that knows Dunk fouled the Brentford guy first, so why try to make something of it and have the ref look at the screen. Absolute bell is Oliver.

Daft as it is, this is one of the very very few things they've got right with var because evening it looks obvious, what if the liner gets it wrong?
