Awesome news. Fair play to ALK, this is a signing for the first team that will definitely improve us.

I hope there is at least one more. As suggested above, Barnes is past his best and we'd be far more effective with another pacey striker.

I miss the days we had Frank McParland at the club. The evening we got a sniff we might be interested in a bid for Andre Grey, and the very next morning he was signed. If Cornet was coming to Burnley, he would have signed weeks ago. He clearly doesn't fancy it and will wait until the last day of the transfer window hoping (and knowing) someone else will come in for him. We need to move on.

Southgates only mistake this tournament was to bring on late subs with no experience of the game and too young and inexperienced. But those players will learn a lot from the experience and will become better players.

The quantity of positive reports of players we are linked with that we have already offered deals too is a million times better than in the last 4 transfer windows.
