They lost to Luton, yet now have more points in the bag than we do. Some insulation for them when they face these tougher tests.kentonclaret wrote: ↑Sat Oct 07, 2023 5:15 pmCompared to the Toffees who have been playing the likes of Luton, Sheffield United, Wolves, Brentford, Bournemouth etc. Surely, tougher tests await them.

True. But I wouldn’t want to watch that ****e again if it meant we never played in this again. That “shite” kept us in the top flight for 6 years, with two top ten finishes and a trip in Europe. It did go stale in the end, but believe me, getting smashed at home week after week will also pale very ...

I can't remember such a hard run of 5 consecutive fixtures either to start a season under him. I prefer Dyche’s approach to the Premier League than Kompany’s.
Kompany’s style edged in the Championship, but Dyche Ball was far more effective at this level.

Tella was nothing short of sensational for us, last season.
It’s a shame he won’t be coming to us permanently, but it’s not the end of the World.
I wish him every success this season, though.

Always had a liking for goals, usually on a heavy pitch, where a centre forward runs onto a high, forward ball, heads it on to himself, and then smashes the ball past a dazed ‘keeper.
An example is Billy Hamilton’s second(and Burnley’s 4th) against Spurs, at White Hart Lane in 1983.
