Re: BFC TRANSFER NEWS (MUST CONTAIN LINK)

He’s said he would ideally like to get players in earlier. He’s also said that he has constraints that make transfers more difficult in an expensive market. By the same token, he’s also said that he would never want to risk the clubs future and accepts the market that we have to work within. I’m sur...

Re: BFC TRANSFER NEWS (MUST CONTAIN LINK)

The key point is that Dyche himself has said his preference would be to have his signings in earlier. It’s therefore fair to assume that, for whatever reason, it’s difficult to achieve this. What we don’t know is whether this is down to our strategy, budgets or something else. Other clubs certainly ...

Re: BFC TRANSFER NEWS (MUST CONTAIN LINK)

Dyche will and should have the final say, but I’d hope that Rigg is slowly but surely building up a wider pool of players from which to choose from.

Dyche presumably identifies a type of player profile he’s after and Rigg will hopefully present some options within x criteria.

Absolutely ridiculous, there were more than one man to blame that day, how guilty are the thousands upon thousands that turned up with no tickets. “Lord Justice Taylor, in his 1990 report into the disaster, concluded fans were reasonable to arrive between 14.30 and 14.40 as match tickets only reque...

It’s a shame we never saw the best of Taylor, on the pitch. He was a cracking player for years and scored some great goals.

It’s great to read comments like that from a former player.

Of course they do, as long as it doesn’t mean turning down the heat, being able to buy mass produced ‘throwaway’ clothes, drive to the shops, buy plastic ridden products, catch cheap flights for weekends away etc. etc. Most people probably do want fast action but few I suspect would be prepared to d...

That parties generally don’t stray too far is a completely fair argument though there have been, and continue to be shifts - which to some are seen as betrayal.

A more centrist Tory leader would be a good thing and perhaps could / should appeal to some of those historically unwilling to switch.

The early rounds are a bit painful (even when we win) with the poor crowds etc. Later rounds though bring about some great games. I don’t get why a number of the ‘top clubs’ are rumoured to be after Maguire. He’s a solid centre half but that’s about his limit, from what I’ve seen of him.

Stones has more potential but that’s been said for a while now and he needs to show it and hold down a regular place for City.

Action v Consequences. More goals are conceded by mistakes than scored on the break. Unless you have world class players comfortable in their ability, Row Z is the best option. It’s about making the right decisions. Passing it out from the back should nearly always be the chosen option, if there is time to do so. Whilst Stones was at fault plenty tonight (Maguire was bloody awful too) the biggest issue was the lack of movement in front of them and therefore, limited option...
