If we keep Cullen and Berge, that’s plenty experience in the middle of the park. If we can get a fee for Brownhill and put it towards a player that has better potential for the Premier League, that would be my preference - certainly rather that than keep him for a season and get nothing.

I agree with those saying that it’s another nail in the coffin of the oldest cup competition in the world. Unfortunately, they’ve plenty of games against sides as bad, if not worse, than they are. Forest, Brentford, Sheff United all at home and a trip to Luton too. They’ll pick up enough not to worry about us (or Luton) catching them.
We really, really shouldn’t be going down, this season.

It gives us the chance of another double over them next season, and if there really was a football God, perhaps we could win the league against them (again) but this time send them down at the same time!

“Hey Vinny why are you playing Lyle on the right wing?” You would have hoped one of his coaches would have challenged him on this by now, nevermind a dof. Dyche always used to talk about percentages. Didn’t watch but what a great point - with eleven it would have been mightily impressive, with ten (against twelve by the sound of things) it shows real character and fight.
It’s been a long time coming, but say it quietly, we might, just might, be giving ourselves a glimmer of hope.
