What are the words you cropped from that sentence? Just out of curiosity. I'm sure they can't possibly be a qualifier to what i just said, because that would mean you deliberately took part of a sentence out of context in order to criticise it, and i'm sure you'd never do that. But i'm curious what...

Gordon Brown suffered the same.
I've met him on the hustings and he was always clear, concise and confident. Whenever he spoke on telly or in the house he always looked shifty. His credibility suffered badly, and he was a genuine bloke. Persona is so important if you are trying to sell an idea.

I've heard this argument before, that if we eschew a 'no deal' exit it would give the EU the upper hand in negotiations, and I see no evidence for it. Firstly it fails to take into account the fact that the EU would also suffer in the event of a no deal. Secondly I (perhaps naively) believe the EU ...

I'd still prefer Pope in goal, hes much better at commanding his box, that takes a lot of pressure off the defence. The midfield needs more bite, as stated . I also think we need to play a lot more pro actively. We conceded a lot of goals early doors, similar to Arsenals first, playing the ball arou...

Barnes was targeted by Arsenal, they presumed that he was going to rough them up, so decided to rough him up first.
They were very clever and did it when Dean had a poor view, or blind sided, but the linesman on the Longside should have seen them as clearly as we did. He was shocking.

The thing with Barnes and Wood, is we can only play one way that suits them, and some teams work it out quicker than others.
