James O'Connor

Brothers Kevin and Danny both had good careers in the League of Ireland. Kevin also played for Wolves and Stockport.

Barrie Wardrobe played first team football at Hartlepool on loan from Sunderland ...Mick"s brother from memory ... might need to check that ? I saw him play for Gateshead a couple of times

Caughey didn’t score for us but had one really good game playing on the right against Northampton He did indeed ... I think it was a night match and on reflection my memory was of him lashing a shot against the bar ..he was that bad the shock must have thrown my memory for a moment πŸ˜‚ we won 2-1 pro...

The one thing that might change the vote is when the current bottom three - particularly the squealing Villa & Bournemouth - realise they will go down if it doesn’t restart. Yes very true if I was in charge of a bottom three club surely you'd want to take your chance on the pitch...Any other method...

Mark Caughey though ...awful... the slowest striker I've ever seen then he suddenly scored a goal ..I almost passed out in surprise ...

He had a good record in the Irish League came on loan from Hibs I think where he hadn't done much ?....what a let down he was

The ground was less full than for the two Blackpool games in 90-1 and 91-2 and definitely not as packed as the Wrexham game..17600 seemed like 35000 after we'd been playing to @2000 most weeks. I used to stand on the longside roughly in line with the Bee Hole 18 yard line and for most of that season...

Yes Steve it was - good sized store not too big but a good range of everything until the changes . I didn't look at the Jacks offering as the whole marketing campaign and so on just screamed cheap crap dont come here .. so the valley didn't go there ?!
