I just wish we could swear our allegiance to monarchs who the people could relate to like Prince Harry and Princess Meghan.
Prince Harry and absolutely not a Princess, Meghan are the last people I would swear allegiance to!

Re: Burnley v Leeds - Match Day Thread

As recommended in the Stephen Lawrence Inquiry Report, the definition of a racist incident is "any incident which is perceived to be racist by the victim or any other person." So by the letter of the law, if McNeil or any other witness to the incident saw it as racist - it is! Whether the Premier Le...

Re: Advice on buying a puppy

We have had 6 cocker spaniels over the years and all have been great with our children and grandchildren. There have been a few issues with 'cocker rage' but to my knowledge it is the solid colours who are more prone to this and apart from the first we have always had parti coloured ones. On choosin...

Re: For those with primary-aged children at home...

I think is a really good opportunity for children to have learning experiences beyond the very narrow National Curriculum. Even if the schools don't back until September, it won't have a major impact on their long term Education and they are all in the same situation. It could be one of the positive...

Re: For those with primary-aged children at home...

So far today, I've helped out with work on Fractions and an English Comprehension via Facetime. Both pieces of work were quite challenging but it didn't take me long to get back in to the swing of things even though it's sometime since I have been in the classroom. I also joined in the Joe Wicks wor...

You're certainly going to be kept busy, John! I've been out of teaching for a while now but have been getting up to speed again to help out with Home Schooling of 5 Primary Age grandchildren so will gladly help out with any queries and ideas too.

Dr on Sky just now saying he recommends trigger should be 60 not 70.
All very well saying trigger should be 60 but there are many 60+ still working who can't afford to stop and many of them are in caring roles which puts them at high risk too!
