Taffy was brilliant with me as well. I spoke to him in a Liberal club in Timperley as he was going on holiday from Manchester Airport the next day and he was staying at his mother-in-law's. We then went for a few pints in Bury when I took him to a game in 2012 and when The Forgotten Fifteen came out...

Re: ARTICLE: Defender Bedeau joins Clarets
Came through the ranks at Bury. We did a lot wrong but we had a bloody good youth team that got to the FA Youth Cup semis in 2018, playing delightful football when the first team were a bunch of over privileged, cosseted, prima donna galacticos who had been thrown together with the intention of prom...

I was at that game, it was a promotion clash with Bury winning 1-0 i think. What I do remember is some of the Seasiders "less fun loving fans" deciding that they'd kick off cause they were losing and try to destroy the away end. Yeah, I don’t think they were all that pleased at Leighton James going...

I was lucky enough to attend a few AFC games which took place under restrictions last season, yeah. I think AFC have been in contact with the council about the...

Amazing, thank you everyone! Bury did indeed go on to play City in the second round, with a whisper over 11,000 at OT presumably looking a bit lost in a ground like that. Still more than Bury could get into Gigg though after the capacity had been cut to 8,000 in the immediate aftermath of Bradford. ...

Evening Clarets. A bit of a long shot, but can anyone remember who scored for Burnley in their 2-1 win in the first leg and their 3 goals in the 5-3 defeat at Bury in the second? And what was the pattern of the goal scoring in the second leg? Did it go to extra time? Thanks in advance for any help.

As soon as it dawned on us that Stan was going to Burnley we knew he’d try and take the spine of the team too. As it turned out, he didn’t just want Lenny, Westy, Jeppo, Elvis, Swanny and Stretch - he told me for the book he also unsurprisingly wanted Dean Kiely and Chris Lucketti too.
