Of course these iniatives make sense and should be supported, but I don't want all the edge sanitising out of the game. Quite enjoy irrationally despising certain teams, I'll never get close to abusing anyone, but don't want back slaps all round either.

The dry pitch was classic Sam. Unfortunately, Leeds only strength is playing with high intensity, which is difficult to do when the ball doesn't roll. So happy to see anti football tricks like that backfire.

Hampstead during the week, near Bath rest of time. Can't style out football shirts any more, but BFC wooly hat is a regular feature in winter. I should pick up a Vinny cap for summer or a golf umbrella perhaps..

I recommend mosquito repellent.. although Venice might not be as bad the Lidos which were unbearable in the evenings early June. For that reason alone I would try stay in Venice. I thought Venice was good and worth the tourism chaos but also agree 3 days is probably more than enough.
