With no one in the hunt for 6th place winning, it was looking as though the Rovers (almost inevitable) defeat wouldn't be too damaging, but a Rovers loss and Cardiff win makes a 6 point swing ahead of the big game at Cardiff mid-week

They both bottled it. The ref saw it happen and passed the buck to VAR. VAR didn't have the bottle. That's the problem with VAR, most refs will - understandably - pass the buck on the big decisions, rather than being risk being exposed as wrong. (It's human nature). VAR ref has no excuse though.

I think Dawson turned us down some years ago which was why we did not go in for him last summer plus Watford will not let their best defender go On the basis that we are talking in the context of him being part of the deal for Gibson they might. I doubt they can sign Gibson and retain all their CBs.
