Re: Toffees vs Clarets Match Thread
The Muric risk. We get great distribution and the ability to take one of their presses out of the game, but this is what will happen now and again with his style, shocked at the surprise. Would still prefer him over Trafford every game - he's been MOM the last few. Can't blame the relegation on this...

Re: Kompany's Signings (Complete List)
Give him time, the same was said about Foster this time last year. 🤔 Foster has done fantastically well to step up to the Premier League and be a real threat. Ramsey should find it much easier next season stepping down to the championship - but still seems like an obscene amount of money for the 10...

He's a wonderful player to have in a winning/dominant team, and we're neither of them right now.

Thats my point - stats don't tell a full story.Tricky Trevor wrote: ↑Fri Jan 12, 2024 3:15 pm******** stats. Tella has spent the season coming on for the last 10mins, when he got on. That doesn’t mean he’s been poor they have better players ahead of him as their league position shows.

That said, I’ve seen nothing to suggest in his numbers that he gets 10 goals for us between now & the end of the season. Tella scored just 2 goals in 36 games for Southampton, and only 1 goal in 6 games in the Bundesliga this year. Different surroundings can change a player - that's how I'd see it....

Best result - the firinge players that started played pretty well, we certainly were no pushover against a strong spurs, and don't need the cup run adding to a tough schedule.
Hopefully Kompany has a few players to consider more game time now.

Wow. What a surprise.
We Tikka takka around our area, get pressed, and they score a goal from the resulting possession.
Rinse and repeat.
I wouldn't mind if it wasn't so predictable.
To quote Einstein "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results"

Absolute madness to let Brownhill leave if it does materialize.
The team the other day had an average age of just 23. We need some experience to back up and guide the talent we're bringing in.

Can't imagine any team keen to loan us players. The idea of the loan is to get the player experience - Dyche likes his solid foundations, core of the team etc. No way he's giving much worthwhile playtime to someone who's only here half a season.

As a teen, I got so excited to see him play. Walked and ran like he had the dribbling skills of Tony Adams, but was fantastic on the ball.
