Fair play to them. But it is the logical place to stop enroute to Accy, unless they fancied coming into Burnley!

Out of curiosity, do you think points should ever expire and, if so, how long should they last for?
I'm on the fence. There are some benefits to this for some people but it wouldn't benefit all. And it wouldn't solve the problem when too many fans are after too few tickets!

Re: 2019/20: Manchester City v Burnley - Ticket Information

Just resetting the points every 3 or 4 years would be fairer than the current system. But not for people who accumulated the bulk of their points prior to promotion to the Premier League! I'm not sure that there is a system that they could change to that, whilst being fairer to some, will not be de...

Tomorrow Rotherham are playing at Accy Stanley and before the game their supporters are planning on visiting Bury and drinking in the pubs around the ground. Lots of pubs and other businesses will of relied on the football trade that's now not there. What a great gesture. Maybe an idea if we could ...

Re: 2019/20: Manchester City v Burnley - Ticket Information

Surely the fairest way to do it is give more points to those who go to places such as Bournemouth away rather than Man U, Man City etc. That how Spurs do it as well within each four year cycle. OK, let's follow through this suggestion. So let's give say 50 points for a long distance away game eg Bo...

Re: 2019/20: Manchester City v Burnley - Ticket Information

A friend of mine who is a Spurs season ticket holder says their points get reset every four years. That maybe but I'm sure that there'll be some Spurs fans with points from way back who won't agree with that system. Just to emphasis that there is no perfect system, practically every club has a diff...

That's correct, as there's no way that the tickets will sell out at 6000 points anyway! So for those with 6000 there's plenty of time over the weekend to get them.

So what happened in the end? Were they going to keep it, or did they pick it up to try and track you down to give it back? First of all I tracked it to a local repair garage and went there. They did seem a bit surprised when I told them that I knew that my phone had been there! A parts delivery dri...

My daughter used it on my phone after I'd dropped it getting into my car. She was able to get a map showing which streets it had traveled on and where it had been and could track it whilst it was moving in Yorkshire. Don't know just how she did it though.
