Re: The Keirby
Owned by a gentleman from Brierfield. No chance of him selling, he owns land in Nelson worth peanuts that Pendle council are trying to buy but he wants 10 million  . It will be the same if Burnley council try to buy the Keirby. Although closed I have heard that hourly rates may be available....

Wouldn't put it past Leeds to really turn it on tonight, to make up for their criminal result against R*vers.
Or maybe not....

The Keirby
Sat in the usual traffic today on Church Street, looked across at the Keirby, its in an awful state, weeds growing out of the side of the walls, filthy windows, etc. I knew it was in a poor state, but what a bloody eyesore. Anyone know what's going on with it, does it house any businesses or whateve...

Re: Rovers Forum
Really not sure how the defeat yesterday will affect Coventry, either floor them morale-wise, or galvanize them to bouncing back.
The fact that they've got a couple of games in hand hopefully will spur them on.
But R*vers were absolutely terrible yesterday.

"Sammie" looks like he's kept them up single handedly.
The unexpected win at Leeds probably does it, unfortunately, although they're not safe yet.
We'll just have to do 'em again next season.

R*vers would be in desperate trouble now had they not won at Leeds, given their difficult run in.
As it stands, they're 3 points above the drop zone.
So come on Owls.

(Mind you, you could make the "if only" comment about loads of our games this season....and if we'd had better refs, etc. etc).

He missed an even 'worse sitter' away at Preston in a game we won 2-3. Arthur Ghohere getting the winner. Think it was just after they had equalised and from the kick off the other Moore hit the bar with a great effort, the ball dropped perfectly for Ian Moore's head in front of a gaping goal with ...

37 League goals for us in 192 appearances. (Wiki)
(Just seen that in the article, sorry)
Wasn't the greatest we've had up front, a long, long way off that, obviously. But not the worst (god, that's a high bar).
As said, could run all day, but to little effect.

We're off to Fratton Park next season, as Portsmouth got promoted to the Championship, beating Barnsley 3-2 to seal the League One title, after 12 years away.
Southampton determined not to hang around for a South Coast derby with them though, defeating PNE 3-0 to maintain their push for the PL.
