Is this phrase from Dyche? Your local wording or have you just missed a word out?

Burnley slang would be 'on't Turf', shortening 'the'

'At Turf Moor' or 'at the Turf' would be the queen's English.
Wouldn’t the Burnley slang be “on t’Turf” with the apostrophe substituting for the missing “he” ?

Why rename the main road to the Turf after a cricketer?
Turf Moor is a Cricket Ground and a Football Ground. It was a cricket ground long before the football club moved there. It was the place where the town’s greatest sportsman started his career.

Linesmen (Assistant Referees) should be equipped with the aerosol sprays that the referees have and quickly spray where the ball went out. The throw in should then be made behind the mark. Not difficult really if anyone in authority cared about enforcing the rules.

You clearly have never played the game. Yes players cheat, but if you’re moving at pace, the slightest of touches on one leg ensures it hits the other and down you go. Which is exactly what happened to Pogba.
