I've just finished Dave Thomas's biography of Bob Lord ( highly recommended, by the way ).

That was by no means Bob Lord's first appearance before the local magistrates in connection with his butchery business.

The way we sell away tickets is arguably codswallop. Not that is matters given demand rarely outstrips supply but away tickets should be sold on a rolling, say 2, year attendance at away matches. Yes.

This season there are eight counties in the first division and ten in the second.
Next season it will be the other way round.
I'm not sure of the reasoning behind it.

ty, I think it's three teams go up, and one comes down from the first division.

A quick calculation shows we need 31 more points to make promotion mathematically certain. In reality we'll need far fewer than that.
