The most relevant point about the Wigan situation is that it is a warning against selling your club to foreign investors about whom little or nothing is known.

I see the Wigan administration is being linked to a big bet in the Philippines on Wigan being relegated.

Given that Pochettino is totally unrealistic, there is one name on that list who I would be confident could keep us in the Premier League.

That man is BFS.

I agree he wouldn't be universally popular, but he'd have my backing.

The only time I ever listen to a 5Live commentary is on the car radio on the way back from a Burnley game. I'll give it a try anyway. If I don't like it I'll watch on Am...

" Cocker Spaniel Rage" is very rare, and only occurs in solid colour dogs, i.e. black or golden. Cockers of more than one colour are fine. I got mine from the Pets4Homes website. Perfectly reputable, as long as you insist on seeing the mother of the puppies when you go to look. Most of the adverts o...

I'd be inclined to leave it a few months.

Since lockdown, prices for puppies have trebled or quadrupled. A few months ago you could pick up a pedigree cocker spaniel for about £800. Now, they' re advertised at £2500 - £3000.

At the end of tonight's game all six clubs in the relegation battle will have played once.

So far, the only two that have made a case that they are good enough to survive are Watford and Brighton.

The other four have looked very poor. Perhaps Villa have been the least poor .

I've never had BT Sport, although I've had Sky since 1994. I'll have to consider signing up to it, at least for a month or two.

I get my broadband through BT. I could always look it up, but does anyone know how much it will cost to get the Sport channel?

You can't really say Villa got a point they shouldn't have had. If the goal had been given, it might have spurred Villa into a reaction and they could have gone on to win it.
