Re: Wooden cricket field stand seats being sold

I agree with what you say but maybe an online sale would be better, don't forget the staff at the ground will want their weekend as well. It's charity work ain't it? If it is staffed by club staff then pay them overtime or as you say hold it online. They do this with ticket sales also it really get...

If that's true about coady I would snap wolves' hand off for him. Perhaps a cash plus player deal would suit both parties. 30m plus coady and they have a deal.

Suppose it depends what time of the year it is but coldest I remember at an away game was Gillingham and Rotherham. Turf Moor can be a tad inclement though, think coldest has to be that Saturday game (against Peterborough, I think, Jay Rod got a late equaliser) anyway, freezing sleet was blowing ho...

I remember going down to reading when we were really **** and couldn't score in a brothel and decided to go for a pie just before half time. Ade turned on the edge of the box and put one in the bottom corner and I missed the whole thing. I think we went on to lose 2-1 that day. How far we have come.

I said when Taylor signed that one day he would play for England. I still stand by that comment. He hasn't featured enough to warrant the best left back of the last 10 years but in a season or 2 he will prove to be undoubtedly our best left back of a generation.

ghandhisflipflop, I added Shelvey because if we have a missing link it is a player who can unlock a defence with either a short or long pass. So for me that is a ‘Shelvey type’. I know it might be difficult for the club and many on here to comprehend, but if we got £40m for Tarks, there are plenty of centre backs who would be willing to sign and be to the required standard to replace him from the continent and leave us with at least £20m in change. That maybe so but we nev...
