I have been subscribed to this channel on YouTube for quite a few years due to the most random (but hugely appreciated) uploads of mid 90’s Burnley matches and season review videos. As I speak I’m sat having memories pop into my head watching the 96/97 season review that was uploaded today. I have n...

Re: Notts Forest: do you now have hope we will survive?
Always hope, but not expectation. Realism says we’re still a team capable of leaking goals, but we have scored 2 in each of our last two games which is progress. We need to beat a big side to have a chance - big boy pants time required at Chelsea.

Re: Greatest World XI to have played in the Premier League at Turf Moor
Aubameyang did nothing after Arsenal but when he played against us (hat-trick) he would have to be up there with anyone else I’ve seen play against Burnley at Turf Moor. Giggs, I may be wrong, came off the bench against us when we won 1-0. He was only on the pitch 20/30 minutes or so but it was lik...

Re: Relegation Run-In
Permutations are pointless unless this team can somehow show it has the cajones to put a big side to bed. We have to beat at least one of Chelsea, United, Newcastle or Spurs to have a hope I think. We have bent over and taken it against the best sides (a few exceptions, we were great against United ...

Re: Burnley v Brentford - Player Ratings
Muric 8 - One really good stop and quick, incisive distribution. Biggest credit I can give him is that corners were less arse clenchingly horrid as he actually came out and challenged for the ball. Assignon 7 - Lots of good work today (great play to put it on a plate for Fofana who somehow missed) b...

Re: Assignon, Esteve and Fofana
Assignon - Improvement on what we had there but not convinced by him wholly. Makes some strange decisions and I won’t really be fussed either way on if we sign him. Esteve - Looks like what he is really, a young lad trying his best in a league well above his current ability. He is one I think has a ...

I think it's the relative attitudes of the players, Luton players regardless of ability seem to leave everything on the pitch most games. There have been plenty of games this season where we can question that about some of our players. Luton would be where we are without Barkley and Lokonga this se...

We are shite, no doubt about that - but so are Luton. They have relied on the surprise factor of Kenilworth Road and physical/aerial assaults on unsuspecting big boys. Good performance yet again let down by the ineptitude of the defence. We have no hope when you’re defending like O’Shea and Esteve do. One ball dinked over their head or round the side and they’re ball watching every time.
Cullen, Berge and Fofana all very good today.

McNeil was electric when he broke into our team and offered far, far more in general play than Odobert. He was a real team player who swung in a ludicrous amount of excellent crosses in his first 18 months or so in the side. Odobert has potential but he has an awful lot to work on to make it at this...

Berge and Cullen would be a promotion winning midfield, no doubt in my mind about that. Vital we keep him and we should be building our team around that duo next season. We have nothing else to amuse ourselves with this season now, so this may well be the silver lining for us in a terrible year of football. That is a rancid set of fixtures and the really important thing was Eustace not giving them a bounce - if anything they’ve seemingly got worse.

For those who want VK to remain... The Majority of the logic for him remaining has been because he has proven he can do it in the Championship. Don’t think we’ll win again and can see a few batterings incoming as so many of the team have given up and we will now start to see that some begin protecting themselves from injury to get moves.
