Was my maths teacher too. We had him straight out of teachers college and gave him a bit of a baptism of fire be he was always a good sport and he must be a great teacher to get me through my GCSE. Jolly nice chap.

Didn’t he play every game in the ‘99/‘00 promotion season?

I remember him trotting out for one game with his name misspelled as “Chrichton” on his shirt. Made me and my brother chuckle.

There’s tons I’d go and see, I think it’s a decent line up! The Cure will be the main performance I’ll be catching. Snook in without a ticket on 1995 with my mates. Didn’t want to see The Cure but my mates convinced me to watch them and loved their set. I’d put it down as a pleasant surprise! This ...

Re: Can we learn from England womens team

Agreed. We have decent players but they are not good enough to play that style of football. Until we can afford to get (or have the will to buy) players of higher calibre we have to play to our strengths, which is what Dyche excels at. Defensive football, whilst not always pretty, is an art in itse...

If you want something that brings you into the world of podcasts with a bang try Serial Season 1. It is The box set of the podcast world and the makers voice is difficult to resist. Just started listening to this. Hooked already. I would recommend Paradise from the BBC which follows a similar idea.

I have supported Burnley for Burnley for 24 years now, and you have to pinch yourself to think about where Burnley have come from since the 80s and where they are today.
