Cancelling Christmas

I’m all for it. It would be such a relief to postpone it until next year. Everything else has been cancelled so let’s go for it. It would be just so nice to not have to think about turkeys, trees, etc. for just one year.

Who was that fairly young right back who was an Englamd regular who had shin splints many years ago. I Think he may have played for Liverpool. He never properly recovered and retired from playing at an early age.

This reflects the 1918/19 pandemic when, initially in March, older people were affected. It was in the second wave, about now, that it affected healthy young people predominantly. They died in droves. Hopefully this won’t happen but perhaps they could have been a little more careful and not so frivo...

Brady was in fine form prior to injury. Had a particularly fine game against Bournemouth especially, where he scored a fairly sublime goal. He sustained a severe injury and it’s taken a long time for him to retain form and fitness. He might just be okay now and be an asset.
