As I understand it, all pensioners get the £10, one pensioner from each household gets the Winter fuel allowance and then the cold weather payment if it gets cold enough.

The rules as I understood them were you got an engine if you had done 25 years. I took redundancy/retirement from the shop floor in Jan 2019. But you can "charge" them in 2 minutes which is what puts many people off EV's also you could arrive at a service station and all the charging points could be taken, great if you are on a tight schedule.

At Tintagel I once passed a ticket on to a bloke that had 4 hours left on it, the attendant stopped me on the way out and said that man can be fined £400 for using that ticket. I said you had better go tell him then and drove off sharpish.
