Astoria in Burnley, recommend if looking for somewhere to eat in town as it has been excellent each time we've been, 30% off "full bill" Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday in September.

Just been in the Waddington Arms who are continuing some kind of deal. Polazzo on Wednesday afternoon had the 25% off Crepes place in Burnley has a deal Mon/Tues. Places would be stupid not to continue to offer a deal, even if it is not that much of deal, with the impetus this has created. Noticed t...

Didn't notice anyone sitting together at the Brighton v Chelsea game. Yes it was a trial but can't see it being a coincidence that nobody was sat together. We have solid wood throughout the downstairs, Karndean in the office.

The wood looks good, as does the Karndean but that is easier to keep looking neat and tidy.

I would not change either, not sure I'd have Karndean throughout the house.

Not related to football but...

Heard on the radio that the snooker was held up because of a player sitting in the wrong seat, which then had to be cleaned. Wondered if sports people will start to use covid-19 measures a tactic?

Been to the Black Lane Ends, Colne, this evening, not bad on the covid measures - wait at the door to be taken to table, hand sanitiser at door and throughout, all staff in mask/visors, throw away menu. Lots of young families like ours, should have been £52 =£26. Wife and baby also been to Towneley ...
