No there shouldn’t. Football is a profession, there should be no limit on how much a person can earn doing their job. And of course, the quality of the Premier League would suffer as a result. Stupid idea.

Said it before: only thing I respect TR for is his ability to deprive an idiot of his money. Breaching his court order, knowing full well it would land him in prison was a calculated move. Probably made hundreds of thousands in donations from that alone.

Makes you think really. Hart was our best performing player for a good few months along with Gudmundsson. Now I'm not refuting that Heaton made *a difference*, but Hart was labelled as the main issue when players like Cork and Mee were playing so poorly, for example.

Not entirely convinced about Roofe. Given the fee we’d be paying I’d want some sell on potential, not convinced at the age of 26 we’d see a return. Cotterill was painful.

But I have to give a special mention to Howe, especially later on, for sucking the joy out of scoring a goal. Not a nice feeling when you finish celebrating, knowing the opposition is about to cancel it out within 2 minutes.

Seems to be a weird misconception that it’s West Brom who aren’t worth dealing with.

Last summer it’s my understanding that they set a very clear fee that they would allow Rodriguez to leave for, and they stuck by it.

It wasn’t them, it was us. We’re the ones who aren’t worth dealing with

Not as bad a decision as it sounds, but their recruitment team needs a big shake up too. Jahanbakhsh for me seems like lazy scouting, and a big fee.
