Bournemouth and Villa both pick up vital results yesterday against similarly placed sides, and then we go and do that. Heartwarming knowing our rivals will be despairing of tonight

Chris Wood is priceless to us.

If the likes of Joelinton and Jiminez are seen as £40m strikers, Wood is absolutely of the same valuation to us. Fantastic record.
Jimenez and Wood shouldn't be in the same conversation as Joelinton. Bloke isn't fit to lace their boots.

Not one of these who call for him at every opportunity, but I'd be tempted by Vydra in this situation. Few times now we've had them on the break and we just needed that bit of pace in behind Phil Jones.

Dwight is playing very poorly sadly, struggling with Wan-Bissaka at both ends of the pitch and failing to pick out a good pass when possession turns over.

Got to disagree with this sudden Jack Cork praise. Slow, weak, and doesn’t have the technical quality to compensate. The fact he remains an unchallenged starter in this side is the biggest fault I can point to in terms of recruitment.

Trading players isn’t just about the here and now. If we identify a player currently worth £10m and think that he has the potential to develop into a £30m player then it’s a viable investment. That doesn’t mean we aren’t also looking to strengthen in other positions. You’re quite right. But right n...
