Bardsley played well today. But I do feel like it’s only a matter of time before he runs out of steam and Lowton has that “brought back to the side” bounce, etc. It’s a position we’ve rotated with a good few times over the past 2 years, but the problem hasn’t fully gone away. We do need a new right ...

He was a waste of a shirt. The likes of Noble must be embarrassed that they have players like him with so little fight in them My confidence skyrocketed when I saw Noble going off. Probably the most underwhelming display from an opposition player I've seen this season. Spent the whole game 15 yards outside our penalty area playing 5 yard passes, didn't even attempt to cause Bardsley any issues 1v1.

Foul was a yellow card offence simply because he was attempting to break. First priority for any newly promoted side (especially one on a tight budget) should be to try and make themselves more difficult to beat.

Norwich turn up at places like Turf Moor and try to play liquid football with championship players. Genuine insanity.

Lowton vs Bardsley. All that debate says to me is that we need a new, younger, more physical right back. Wonder if we're still interested in that Maehle at Genk. Wonder if we've identified someone different. Either way, we need to act within the next two windows at the latest.

Pope 5 Lowton 3 should’ve been replaced 2 years ago but we blew the budget on a 4th choice central defender and 5th choice striker instead.
