Re: BFC TRANSFER NEWS (MUST CONTAIN LINK)

I thought it was commonly accepted that we needed another midfielder through the door as we only have four, one of whom is Defour. A defensive midfielder to compete with Cork, yes. Strong preference for one that would improve on him. This wouldn’t be outright awful but it’s just not what we especia...

Re: Most over rated Burnley player. (EVER)

Not saying the player himself is overrated, but Ben Mee had an overrated season last year. Was really quite poor for about half of it. Don’t get the JBG call tbh, for about that same time he was basically our only attacking player. Yeah, he does have a good few games where he goes missing but the as...

The Labour Party would do itself an enormous favour if it stopped concerning itself with Israel and Palestine. I hear “anti Israel isn’t antisemetic” all the time, but I ask the question: what’s the point of being anti Israel in the first place? The sooner Labour realise the general population of th...

Vydra making a sub appearance in the 65th minute in a game like this. Finished at this club if we’re being honest - I’d keep him as back up but, like Hart I don’t think he’d sit well at all with being a bench player with very limited opportunities.

Surely the first choice 'keeper will be picked on his pre-season form? It could even be Joe Hart! Yes but as I say, neither keeper would want to be second choice - in the interests of their career. Pope is in my opinion a better goalkeeper and is also younger by a good few years. Sadly, I don’t think either of them will want to stay here if they’re going to be number 2. More to the point, that’s a signing that signals Brentford want to compete on a higher plane. Surprising to see them make a high profile move as opposed to just bringing in a bloke from the lower leagues who they’d eventually turn an enormous profit on, before starting again.
