Re: Email addresses for an organisation
We still use UKReg/Fasthosts - simply because I began to use them in 2000 when I got into this. We've had no reason to move away. They're low-cost, and reliable. GoDaddy are the highest profile operator in this space, I'm sure you've seen their ads on the perimeter boards. I gather they're also good...

No, the Championship is definitively VAR-free. Which was one of the highlights of last season (well, along with our explosive form.) To answer the original question, it's actually a tough call. Being in the PL brings razzmatazz, but there is definitely something to be said for being great in the Cha...

Probably worth some emphasis that the Bentley Wood roundabout roadworks (M65 J9) are a significant bottleneck at busy times.
Saturday's matchday peak times will be horrendous, I'd avoid that junction at all costs.

There was some significant structural work on the North Stand (James Hargreaves) Lower, involving cranes last summer, so there was little chance of a home fixture during close season.

One of the best barristers I ever worked with was very unkempt, mostly unshaven, very rarely wore a tie outside of court, sported a pony tail which at the time was almost unheard of amongst professional people. I remember when added time was sponsored by (I think it was) Laurent Perrier champagne. Maybe mid 2000s?
This always baffled me... I can imagine a champagne brand entering such a deal at Chelsea, or even Man United - but Burnley?

I'm not sure if it's been previously posted.
Quite interesting, there is not much first-hand officiating media like this.

As a result of your post, beddie, I ordered a home PSA test from the BKPCA. I actually tried to do the finger prick test a couple of days ago, but despite using 3 lancets, I was unable to extract enough blood. It is NOT painful, it's just quite tricky to catch the blood before the small hole heals a...

I'm not sure what that area is currently used for. But, it seems like a (minor but not zero) risk scenario to have access to the players' tunnel, in the middle of the home end. EVs are RWD are they, I didn't know that. I don't mind RWD to be honest. EVs are a mix of 2 and 4 wheel drive. (One motor or two motors). I had a Jaguar I-Pace (as have others on here) for 3.5 years which was an incredible machine. For a 2.5 ton machine, it had amazing handling. 4 wheel drive and 4...

Absolutely agreed. They should be announcing the visiting team, for exactly the reason you state. The general antagonism - making Turf Moor "a fortress" (haha) - begins with a bit of good-natured needle for the opposition. Not everybody spends time researching every opposition team in detail before ...

Let's say that our owners declared "We will no longer sell alcohol on the concourses, or in the fanzone."
Do you think attendances would be unaffected, because 20,000 Burnley fans place no value, whatsoever, in the availability of such - and are solely interested in the match?

If someone doesn't renew because of catering, then good, let one of those on the waiting list have it The point is that the matchday experience, more broadly, can shape whether somebody subconciously enjoys the experience enough to commit to a season ticket, year-on-year. Whilst the quality of catering might not affect the decision-making of 'lifelong fans', the matchday experience will almost certainly influence the fairweather fans. That might account for 10-20% of supporters. Refreshing the dated, tatty catering outlets, improving quality and choice would influenc...

It takes about 30 seconds to find the clauses in the Licensing Act 2003 (and subsequent orders) which outlaw this type of 'irresponsible' promotional practice. I can't believe a venue have even tried to roll with this.
