Re: New home kit

And yet the total Retail sales for '17/'18 was a mere £1.9m. Surely there must be scope to improve on that figure as a PL club with a little outside of the box thinking. Why are we so against selling our merchandise outside the confines of the club shop? A mere £1.9m or c£40k per week- I’m surprise...

Re: Chris Wood should get a trophy for this.

Wood’s our best finisher and Barnes is our best overall striker and they complement each other well. The way we play with 2 up top will inevitably lead to more offsides than other sides of similar stature that play one up or the top sides that have more pace. Luckily for us he has scored the same n...

Only Burnley fans could complain so much about two of the best goalscorers we've had in the Premier League. i understood Barnes was our best goal scorer in the premier league. A couple of points. We didn't have any prem money left when Dyche came, and secondly, he was an out of work manager who'd been sacked by Watford so he wasn't being inundated with other job offers. Compared to us trying to keep a float in the Championship with one of the smallest budgets - Yes it is.

All things being equal (no parachute payments) being in the Championship is an achievement for a club our size.

When it was a first team pre-season tournament we played them quite a bit. In the late 80’s there were a couple of games with around 8-9,000 on, when our normal league gates were closer to 6,000. Like us getting 30,000 on now I suppose. We drew 1-1 in 1991 with Mike Conroy getting our equaliser. Di...
