I went into the Castore store at the Trafford Centre today and their general leisure wear are very nice designs. Much nicer than Umbro. Can’t feel that Umbro (with their heritage) really missed a trick with not doing versions of more iconic kits from the past.

Toney was a handful. If was overweight, unfit or disinterested then he’ll be really good when he’s on it.

I was annoyed with the amount of fouls he got away with. Had he been a defender or midfielder he would have been booked way before he was.

You’ve got to think that WHEN they win the league they will ‘go again’ in the transfer market and this might have an impact on how much game time Tella gets next season (he hasn’t had too much this season). Of course there’s also the distinct possibility of them having a new manager next season too....

Losing at Anfield when Vitinho comes on as a winger and Benson stays on the bench. There’s absolutely zero logic in this substitution. Zero.

Something is certainly amiss in this situation. It’s definitely not just the theory that the manager thinks he isn’t up to making the step up.

It doesn’t matter who he was playing against today, he still had numerous opportunities to show more composure and quality on the ball. Unfortunately, I don’t think he has got the required level of those attributes to play effectively at this level in that role/shape.

I think Vitinho just might be the worst player ever at Burnley at taking throw ins. Deliberates for what seems like an eternity and then just throws it to an opposition player. There doesn’t seem to be much a plan from throw ins. Trippier used to be very good at them.
