That's a good route. Scenic between Lancaster and Penrith, and the journey between Carlisle and Newcastle is full of interest, going through Hadrian's Wall country and then along the banks of the Tyne. If you have time, break the journey along the Carlisle-Newcastle by stopping for a pint in Corbri...

Not me but I'm in it. Joint cup-winners that side. We were poor in the final, but drew 2-2, so shared the cup... although we grabbed it first and took it back in my Dad's car, waving it out of the window at the oppo as we sped off. Not a rumour from a paper but I have heard from three separate Newcastle fans today that Matty Longstaff is on his way to Burnley. Free agent that was on just under 1k a week. don’t know if there’s any truth to this but I would be relatively happy. Cheap signing with potential. Would be astonishing...

He's a classy player, but surely takes some responsibility for Croatia's dire 2nd half, when Denmark, staffed from Ipswich, Boro, Cardiff etc, controlled the game.
Until then, was a starter (alongside Rakitic) in my Team of the Tournament XI.

Obviously, as many Clarets as possible. None of Tarks, Mee, Cork, Pope or Heaton would let England down. And why not Ash on the bench :-) Apart from that, I don't want too many "he can cover 2 or 3 different positions" type-players. Walker, Dier, Young, that'll do. I want different from England this...
