Re: ARTICLE: Pro deal for Thomas as eight players are released
Surprise to see Fowler released. Comfortably the leading scorer at youth level, plus played and scored a few for U23s. Also had excellent and goalscoring loan stints away from the club.

Re: McNeil is a centre midfielder
He’s a winger... can play centre mid and has done for youths/u23s, but his best and favoured position is on the wing. You don’t get the same space in the middle as out wide, bit more freedom out there. Also allows him to come inside and affect the game, like build up to first goal. So we leave him w...

And who is that? One thing we don’t have is another right footed winger.GodIsADeeJay81 wrote:Ship him out, we've got his long term replacement already at the club.

Re: Defour Brady Vydra
Brady played a game in pre season Defour got injured/operated on/whatever a few weeks into pre season (from memory!!) Defour had op on his knee in ferbruary not pre season. Back from knee op at start of pre season but struggling with calf injury that they can’t get to the bottom of. I’ve heard rumo...

Re: No Stream Thurs
Or simply down to no interest from Broadcasters. Realistically, how big an audience would they get? BT probably saw how many watched our last home leg and didn’t see it as financially viable for them. Last season Everton struggled with getting broadcasters to pick up their games and they have a much...

Re: New bid for Jay Rod
Boo hoo, poor Rodriguez, he really cares about us doesn't he? Jumped ship at the first opportunity to Southampton then rejected us last year to join WBA. Now he's been relegated and had his wages cut, he's suddenly desperate to return home. One of our own? my arse. Don’t let facts get in the way of...

Re: Best value for money
Not enough I'd have thought. Our starting 11 would be on more than that Wasn't our wage bill 60m last year? 25k/26k a week is the average... this doesn’t mean they all earn that!!! This will include our other pros who will be on less than 10k, so our 1st teamers will mostly be on more than 25k, but...

Re: Best value for money
I believe that has been done with the wrong wages for us In what way? Too much or not enough? This works out at roughly £70m a year, which I believe to be pretty accurate. £1.3m a year has our average wage at 25k, again, sounds about right to me with a number on 30k+ and certainly some on less than...

Re: Your team for our last game of the season.
Think there will be a few disappointed Clarets today, when they don’t see an appearance in the game by either Marney or Arfield. Will get the chance to say goodbye during post match lap of honour. Neither will start or be on the bench though.

Re: Busy summer ahead?
You are allowed to have a pre contract deal agreed with players who are out of contract at the end of the season. Danny Ings agreed one with Liverpool a few years ago! No you can’t and that is why Ings didn’t sign one with Liverpool. International moves yes, such as Arfield to Rangers. Even though ...

Re: Jay could be back on his way to us
Given the position WBA were in when he signed in Jan, I would have thought that Jay's agent would, as a minimum, have insisted on a relegation release clause inserted into any contract However, if the likes of WHU, Newcastle, Palace etc start to show any interest we have to be realistic and expect ...

Shareholders. Priority Ticket Purchase
Does anyone know if shareholders are still afforded the same priority when it comes to away tickets? Used to phone the lottery office I think. If so how do we purchase? Can’t find anything on the official site, so any help/advice appreciated. Thanks

Hello hello hello... Can honestly say that not posted on CMAD for easily well over 12months... Have kept a passing interest but that is all. Fingers crossed that this new one reignites not just mine, but many others lost love for a proper Clarets message board... UTC
