Re: Home games pretty much sold out
It seems a bit odd that the club haven't advertised more widely the fact that season ticket holders can now sell back their seats for individual games if they can't attend. I know a few who weren't aware of this option. Surely a mass email to all season ticket holders wouldn't go amiss announcing t...

But those fans attracted from far and wide won't be as interested in watching us play Barnsley on a Tuesday evening if we are stuck in the Championship with little hope of promotion. Re: Home games pretty much sold out
Unfortunately, that's the reality for a club of our size. Whilst in the Premier League there will always be the attraction to see Man U. and Liverpool, but drop down a level for any sustained period and we simply can't persuade supporters to watch the likes of Barnsley or Rotherham in any significa...

Re: Home games pretty much sold out
The only way we get crowds of over 30,000 is to do what Blackburn did and give away teams 8k. We haven't got the fanbase to attract that sort of crowd on a regular basis. Now that is a lazy response. How do you know what our fan base is? Do you think that you have to live in Burnley to support Burn...

No it isn't a put down, it is true though that to just sit there saying we should have built bigger stands earlier is lazy. You were given the cost of Liverpool as you said they are doing this. I asked you when we should do this as it isn't that long since we were getting 13000 on should we have do...

The work at Anfield for the main stand and Anfield Rd is expecting to have cost 200m once finished, Fulham's over 100m for 1 stand to be done. It is a lot harder to do than lazily throw things around that should be done. Is ‘lazy’ your go to ‘put down’?! You think that someone saying the ground nee...

It's an awful looking kit made even worse by a sponsor that just completely clashes with everything. Looks like an accident. The fonts, the colours, the positioning are all over the place. Such a shame after we made such major strides last year to re-build our image. Greedy, short sighted management.

It depends what you mean by club can grow? More broadly the club has grown across a ...

The reason we have a lower average attendance is in part because we have a lower capacity. Biggest challenge to rebuilding a stand when you’re selling out most weeks is where to put the people you’ve displaced. We were lucky to get 12k on last time we did it. The ground situation has become a major problem. The 2 newest stands were built in 1995 to a minimum specification and delivered 14,500 seats at £5.2m. Somehow the new stands didn't align and, therefore, filling the JH and JM corner with the new build is awkward at best. The Cricket Field Stand is ...

There are 77419 shares in issue, so the value of the shares is simply the value paid for the equity divided by that. So, if they are paying £200m for the equity (highly unlikely) the value per share will be about £2,600 if I’ve got my noughts right. However, it won’t be that simple. The takeover va...
