My fear for Dyche is that he’s too unfashionable to go to an established top Premier League club... he could join a club like Newcastle or West Ham, where the fans will just chew him up and spit him out. Leicester would be a good move but they’re in a good place, Crystal Palace, Bournemouth or Watfo...

Dyche teams seem to step up when we have to play the hand that been dealt - especially when key players are out. Although our squads are often small, the team always seem to up their game every season.

1997/98


Waddle betting player/manager, quite high profile players and staff too in Glen Roeder in the England setup, Chris Woods and so on. After picking up results-wise towards the back end of the season and winning against Plymouth to stay up. Dreadful season on paper but I remember enjoying it.
