Wood and Barnes up front, Dwight to start. Salah on bench (for Liverpool obviously)

If we’re unchanged, with the 2 lumps up front, 3 or 4 nil to Liverpoo. BUT, if SD finally decides to change it, like in 2nd half at West Ham, we may just surprise em, like the back end of last season.

Re: Predictions vs Liverpool

Not expecting any Burnley goals in the first half as Barnes and Wood will start upfront, Dwight will be back in the starting lineup though

For those playing Fantasy Football and tripple captained Salah, he will be on the bench

Re: BFS under scrutiny again

I appreciate the transparency though - at the end of the day though, no-one cares. They could've used a couple of loopholes Say he's injured or ill Sign on an initial months loan with a view to a permanent move - this would've ruled Snodgrass out of the game anyway Have him an unused sub on the benc...

Re: ARTICLE: Drinkwater makes Turkey move

To be fair, at the time, I thought Drinkwater was a decent signing. Ticked the boxes that we needed and he needed a new home. I thought it was a shrewd move. Obviously the concerns were his match fitness and his wage demands... but it was just a loan move and if he brought what he had brought to Lei...

Re: BFS under scrutiny again

I worded that wrong :) I think it's perfectly reasonable to have agreement. Especially if the player had been training with his former club all week in preparation to play for his new club. Actually, I'm going to take this back - I thought Snodgrass moved to West Brom just a few days ago. I hadn't ...

Re: BFS under scrutiny again

I'm sure this used to be a normal thing - like a gentleman's agreement for a player not being available for selection after being transferred the same week he was debuting against his former club.

I'm sure we did it once with during Stan's tenure but I can't remember who the player was....

I think the only way VAR will work is if the VAR refs do not know what decision the on field ref has given. The VAR refs should just be shown the incidents and ask for their view then they cannot be influenced by what the on field ref has given. I’d have it that VAR are the the main officials and r...

Re: VAR and the rules.

When it’s blatantly obvious that a player is offside, the linesman should have the right to flag. It’s common sense, most players know when they’re offside by a distance anyway.

Tight calls should be given benefit of the doubt and left to VAR
