Jeff Hendrick started ahead of Cork tonight. In midfield. Not out right. Correct? Tarkowski, Mee, Long and Dunne were the Centre-Halfs. Gibson injured. But that appears to be the five. Correct? Both full-backs sorted with two each side. Correct? An embarrassment of riches up front. Even Wells got mi...

Only thing I ever question is why Barnes doesn't start every game. He is more complete than anyone else up front. Aggravates the other center backs. Who should play with Ashley though? Should be first name on the sheet for me

Depression is a strange animal. No-one here asks what FF is depressed about. Mine is financial. Two daughters in University in USA that i pay (borrow ) for. Massively depressing for me. Walker is fine there. Maguire is the problem. Super offensively. Driving forward. Defensively, the liability all game. Cahill in there next up. No doubt. So much better defensively. I actually think Walker would be miles better with Cahill beside him instead of Maguire constantly charging forward an...

Re: Pickford.. Verdicts?
Not sure Pickford's distribution and foot skills are that good actually. A lot of talk about his "skills". Ederson he is NOT. Not even close. Think Butland and Pope are better shot-stoppers. Think Pope is the best in the air claiming balls. Just my opinion.....

He has come on massively under Dyche. Why any negative comments about is baffling to me. Hes a proper player. Wouldn't want to start a season with Kevin as starting CB but as a back up, he has been nothing but a rock. So impressed.

It's not a coincidence that Keane and Tarks received recognition while playing alongside him. Not a coincidence that Keane playing alongside Williams has lost his way. Think there me be something to these rumours. Been Mee is obviously the glue that holds our defence together. Think he'll extend wit...

I think Southgate's inclusion of Tarks and Pope in this squad is nothing more than recognition for the tremendous advances they have made in the course of a single season for the most surprising team in the EPL. I respect him massively for integrating players having massive seasons for they're teams...

Neither of them is technically as good as John Stones. His talent is off the charts as far as pure footballing ability. Think the pressure has affected young John though. Bad decision making. Where MK and Gibson have him is they are defenders first. Clear the danger. Poor John, he feels the need to ...

Long time reader of Clarets Mad. This seems better. "Triad" is Winston Salem NC USA, so well familiar with our previous "attachment" to Cary (Raleigh) NC
