Herberts original Dune book was brilliant but it got very laboured by the 3rd and 4th book in the series..... I agree. Certainly started well but didn’t get better. I didn’t think we were as bad as most on here. We had a few chances and a bit of bad luck against the European champions. Pope didn’t have a lot to do apart from pick the ball out of the net 3 times. Sean gambled on playing a very high line. I might have worked on another day as it was amazingly con...

I’m not clear what our strategy is. It seems to have become very focused on the short-term. How do you see that? Surely saving money for a rainy day is more long term? I see clubs spending £100M as being short term. That is unsustainable. If these signing don't work out for Villa they won't have an...

Only on a Burnley forum, following a 6-1 demolition of an ok French side, could we have such gloom.

We would still have 2 England keepers if Heats leaves.

We look good all over the pitch... but maybe need one more cm with Defour’s track record.

I can’t see us getting dragged in like last year.

We need upper prem level players to improve our starting 11. Those who are good enough to improve us are good enough to improve most teams. Therefore we will need to compete on wages and fees. Going for younger talent to grow into it is also too crowded and therefore expensive. A real sticky positio...
