Re: MIGHTY CLARETS versus Arsenal

Even if he hadn't trained or not enough which is a BS excuse because plenty of new signings played for their new clubs with less time spent with them then surely it would've been good to be on the bench at least to get a feel for everything.

Unless he has a knock.

He has links up north and why would he want to be in a relegation battle with a decent chance of being back in the same league he's leaving. Money maybe but can't see it myself.

Barnes hasn't been doing much for a while now really. He doesn't even bully the CB's like he used to. If he's injured then he shouldn't be playing, if he isn't being as effective as usual then he shouldn't be playing. Drop Barnes and let him rediscover himself and fight for his place back/recover fr...

Totally agree. Barnes has not hit last season's standards this year and isn't adding much to the team IMO. Maybe defenders have figured him out a little and he certainly doesn't seem to have the intelligence (that may be a little harsh) to outplay defenders when they are able to stand up to his bul...

Perhaps we should spend a max of 500k per bench player, then we can really complain that Dyche has no plan B.

How much is our bench worth £35m? Yes a Burnley FC bench is worth around £35m. And the majority of that £35m doesn't get a game That's a lot of money spunked no matter which way you look at it.
