Comparing like with like, the early bird price for my over 65 North Stand lower last year was £250. This has gone up to £346, an increase of 38.4%. Blimey :shock:

Credit where it's due, Bashir and Hartley have shown some bottle this morning. Match India's first innings score in our second innings then bowl them out for 200. Game won simple! :D

Good article. Looking at the comments at the end of the article Michael Holding is mentioned as playing against Walsden. He must have been deputising for whoever played Walsden as he never pro'd in the Central Lancs League. Trust me, I would have remembered if he had!

This was the first season I can remember with any clarity. I was 8 years old and was at both Man Utd games at Xmas. Won 6 1 at home lost 5 1 at Old Trafford 2 days later!

Scam calls purporting to be from HMRC have been around for a long time. Having worked for HMRC rest assured they will NEVER make unsolicited calls to your mobile or landline. I recall a colleague getting one of these calls on her mobile whilst we were in work. That was quite amusing.

The other LL website (not Play Cricket) is currently showing Littleborough top of the league with 164 points. I'm pretty sure Burnley will overhaul that. Congratulations to them. My BCC pals will be cockahoop!!

We left Toronto on Friday!! Had a meal at the top of the CN Tower which was as expensive as it was memorable!! :D Currently in Huntsville having spent a night at Niagara Falls. On to Ottawa tomorrow via Calbogie Peaks then back to Toronto via Rockpost next weekend. Great country great road trip.

It's dramatic but it's not half a bit of a farce. Littleborough can only win if both Burnley and Darwen get beat with 0 bonus points. Might happen with Darwen but be a miracle that even if Burnley lose that they won't get any batting bonus points. Littleborough have won but only got 10 points even ...

I'm following this from Canada so LL website may not be up to date. But, at the moment, Littleborough need 23 off 15 overs with 7 wickets left to beat Clitheroe. If Burnley don't bat 20 overs the Boro sneak in. It's the miracle of Medina all over again :D

No one is mentioning Littleborough!! There is a scenario whereby we can win it. But it will mean Burnley and Darwen both losing with no points and us beating Clitheroe. Just hope the weather isn't the winner!

Another fan here. Have followed him from Carrie and Salems Lot right through to Billy Summers. But my absolute favourite is 11/22/63. One of only two books I've read twice. The TV adaption with James Franco is also excellent.

Just need to fine the players 1% of their match fee for every over not bowled that is purely down to slow over rate and doesn't have mitigating circumstances, the over rate would soon improve trust me.
