Re: Cycling Help (What Bike?)

I’ve got 4 bikes. A giant road bike, an old Raleigh Record Sprint, a Felt Hybrid and an e-bike for commuting. I love cycling but my knees don’t allow me to work a shift and cycle the 20 mile round trip so an e bike was a great option. I still work hard but when I’m struggling I’m able to ease off an...

For £300 I’d go secondhand for a hybrid. You get what you pay for with bikes so get a decent brand.

I’ve lost 5 stone since September. I joined a slimming world group and it’s worked for me. I do cycle a lot as well which has kept me steady during lockdown (which has been a struggle). I’ve just given myself a kick up the arse to get back on it. Need to lose 2 more stone.

Afternoon Spades. I’ve been working in Norwich throughout lockdown and as you say, it’s eerily quiet on the roads. I often cycle the long way home through Hethersett and Wymondham to get to Easton. I’m cycling to work everyday and also watching what I eat. I have had a little wobble over the last 2 weeks but I’m back in the game.

02 Sep 19 :- 21 stone 4lbs (and I cycled regularly).
Today :- 16 stone 6lbs.

I want to get to 14 stone and it will happen. Hard work though.
