Re: Burnley v Fleetwood - Lancs Senior Cup Latest

Used to be proper games at Turf Moor with mostly the reserve team, and the odd sprinkling of first teamers. I remember fairly decent crowds in the 60's. Once saw Wille Morgan get a game when returning from injury - he ran rings round the opposition - possibly Barrow? The lower league teams took it v...

Not sure I agree. I went to Stuart McCall's testimonial at Valley Parade when Bradford City played a team of current and former Rangers players - the sectarian chanting was appalling and convinced me we should never let the Old Firm into English football. Abuse based on religion has no place in Foot...

To be fair, he hasn't had a lot of injuries but those he has had have been bad long term ones. We won't sell Defour without demonstrating he is fit, given his record over the last 2 seasons. And if he is fit, I'd much rather he stays. A completely level headed and honest assessment. Not a good game but 3 points. Getting points when you are not playing well is a skill, and one which Sean Dyche's team shows in abundance.
We will play better, and probably lose playing better. But its 3 valuable points however you look at it.
