Over these last 4 1/2 seasons - 171 games - how many times have we heard fans and managers grumbling about us and asking how on earth they lost a game against us? Even Klopp last week said it was impossible to lose that game but that they managed to, rather than we had won it!

Sorry guys, my bad mistake. BenWickes did link to the Everton website and I misread the answer to the question. Wigan did indeed win and 2-1 and we should go through to the Quarter Finals. Sorry to cause consternation amongst fellow Clarets, it has been a starnge day in Ashington today for various ...

That being the case, both the Clarets and Everton have exactly the same goal difference 7-5. I wonder if they will work it out in head to head, in which case Everton would go through and that would be a shame. Edited because I have just confirmed that it goes on a head to head basis. If Wigan won 2...

Theyve been playing well of late in the League and that was nowhere near their first choice 11 yesterday. I wouldnt read too much into their performance yesterday.
Good job too, because otherwise they would be below Sheff United in the table with 60+ goals conceded already

It's a happy conundrum of 2 from 4 currently imo. I highly rate Brownhill who I think is a very very astute signing, but it's all about opinions though But what if someone's opinion is that someone else's opinion is utter b*****ks? I read posts from time to time that make me think the author is a t...

Another consideration is the air travel clubs will have, when playing i.e. in Germany, Italy, or for that matter any Country. There would no short 1 hour coach trips within the North West. All the away games would involve overnight stays, before and after a game. Meaning players will spend a lot of...

Is there a difference? I have never tried to say Mc or Mac differently. I suppose Mc could be more of a clipped 'muc' rather than a 'mac' but in reality hardly any English people use them in any other manner than 'mac'

28-24 to the Buccaneers in the 4th. If you had predicted that Rodgers would have thrown 3 TDs in a game at Lambeau and still be behind I would have laughed at you.
However, the 2 veteran QBs have thrown an incredible 998 career touchdowns between them

Good watch that
I know it's not a league game but more flowing with the movement up front
We are playing Fulham and they have their 2nd (at least) choice defence out there. Bit easier than playing against most PL defenders.

what do you expect when our main attacking tactic is to lump it long, pick the ball up in the middle of the park, knock it to someone out wide, usually about 30/40 yards out and launch it in the box. If it's the full back it's a long diagonal, if it's the winger about 25 yards out after cutting bac...

I just hope Burnley actually score 2 (or more) in a PL game (or any game for that matter) for only the 2nd time this season!
