Re: Luxury Watches

There are a few brands that will appreciate but they tend to cost more than your budget. You could try a British brand like Farer, they may grow over time. Mainly just buy a watch that appeals and enjoy it

Re: Arsenal v Burnley - Player Ratings

Pope: 7
Lowton: 6
Tarka 7
Mee: 7
Pieters: 7 clearly our best crosser
Cork: 7
Westwood:6
McNeil: 7 sniffed out in the second half
JBG: 6
Wood: 6
Barnes: 7*

JRod 5 very disappointing

Poor crossing throughout was our downfall

Re: Ashley Barnes question

Austrians won't have him as he's not pure Austrian (racial purity is quite important in those parts)
England won't have him as he's not played in the U16, U18, U21 gateway
Scores more goals than Rashford though

Re: A question re: Taylor v Pieters and McNeil

I like the way Pieters takes responsibility for his mistakes, if he gives the ball away he hounds whoever's got the ball until he gets it back. There's no way he'll get dropped fr the next game
McNeil and Pieters will take time to gel though

We value Tarkowski at £40M
Bournemouth value Ake at £75M
Guess Leicester will be chasing Tarka then and if we value him at £40M, a deal around £25M seems likely based on how we handled our valuation of Heaton

Villa had the price they were prepared to pay
We had our valuation
We negotiated to their price
We sold the best English goalkeeper to a rival at the price they wanted
We are utterly clueless in the transfer market

We didn’t stumble across McNeil by accident but there !s little doubt he wouldn’t have had the game time he did if it wasn’t for Lennon’s injury. That was the the bit of luck/chance/accident or whatever that massively contributed to our change in fortunes

Since when has long ball been boring - it’s fast and effective. It’s also far more entertaining than watching expensive defenders play square balls to each other in front of their penalty area.

I’d agree, I think the new rules will affect us far more than most as we spend long periods defending and blocking so the chance of one of these ridiculous new handballs being given will be much higher. The way to avoid this is to keep the ball more or attack more - that’s not really our style so I ...
