Re: The UTC GE poll
In that situation, would you consider just not voting? I did but my dislike of the tories made me vote tactically to try to stop them. My vote doesn't really count anyway - it's a farming community so it's a massive Tory stronghold whether I vote or not. Maybe if it was a different situation that w...

Apologies for quoting just you but I do have a question for ex-labour supporters (genuine question, not a criticism): I appreciate that you no longer support the party on it's current state but if your views are still "old labour", for want of a better phrase, how does this align with voting Tory? ...

Very little difference in the general standard of players in the Championship and Premier League - outside of the glamour clubs.

A tall keeper will naturally use their legs when the ball is low and near their body. Adjusting you legs in that way is quicker than using your hands and also is likely to prevent the ball going through your legs. Just basic goalkeeping really - watch De Gea- he does exactly the same

Re: So how do we improve things?
Use the resources we have a bit better. We are leaking goals for fun and we have a centre back on the bench we payed 15 million for and who was thought of at one time as one of the best young centre backs in the country. Why not give him a chance? Agreed - can’t see him dropping Mee though so think...

Re: Lowton, Pieters, Brady, Cork, Hendrick & Jay Rod
Yes Lowton is past his best but as for the rest of the list - Pieters - decent standard as a back up Brady - before injury he was our main playmaker, hopefully he will be again Cork - fits SD’s system perfectly and covers more ground than anyone else Hendrick - best in a midfield 5 but his versatili...

What is obvious is that without Westwood’s speed of passing and pressing then we are lost in midfield

Disagree - the board made a big mistake in appointing Laws. There’s too much blame here - nobody did that much wrong - The board/ Flood had very little time to find a manager with decent experience (Laws had managed over 700 games) and the appointment was made with half an eye on the worst case scenario. They needed to make the appointment quickly so as Laws...
