Why any of our defensive coaches think it’s a good idea to use Odobert as a defender is another question

Re: TRAFFORD
Trafford didn’t claim the ball for their 1st because there were 2 forwards and 3 defenders in front of him and his arms would need to be 6 foot longer to get anywhere near the ball.
The defence are told what positions to adopt for corners - Odobert didn’t do his job.

However, despite playing behind a world-class defence, being too expensive, not Muric and being a total coward, he’ll also be to blame for famine, war and pestilence.

Our set plays usually put us under pressure. Any team who doesn’t take advantage of these situations is either so good it doesn’t matter or being very badly coached (to put it very politely).

Savage is stupid and so are his opinions - that’s why the media employ him and his like - his opinions annoy people and as a result they phone, text, quote on socials etc - in other words his dumb opinions get feedback - and that’s what those working in the media are measured on and paid on.

Not having a proven replacement for left back is just suicidal. Beyer or another centre back could play there in emergencies but they don’t have the engine, the speed or the recovery powers needed to play the role for half a season. Why is right back being prioritised over left back. We have one competent left back at the club and are one injury away from leaving us exposed on that side for half a season.
