Re: Alan Pace Interview: Mail online
Still many questions to be answered , probably in time . Servicing the debt on Burnley’s meagre profit margins will be tough. They have big ideas yes but that’s all just hopes and dreams. How has it been done in other clubs? Selling the assets , relocating the ground , flipping the debt . There’s ju...

Re: Selling our soul
It’s an investment consortium. They want to make a profit . How ? Usually by taking out loans on the fixed assets , training ground, stadium. We won’t know if these are rapacious asset strippers until they behave that way . They are not Burnley fans let’s be clear . Bolton , Swansea etc all took the...

Re: Eddie Howe linked with Celtic
Well I’m Scottish so got away with a lot that night , I’d been Burnley since age 8 so I had to put on my accent just to get through the bee hole to the long side . It was rough yes but pretty normal for a Scots lad . Whittlefield was a rough area but they had never seen wee boys like us with knives ...

That’s cos they never played us , ask Newcastle , Sunderland , Seville etc what rangers are like, no different .
I loved that Celtic game by the way . What a night. The return leg was great too, plenty went up there and the Celtic fans couldn’t have been friendlier .

So a new railcard available to ‘veterans’ of the armed forces . Qualifying period of one day in the forces . One day . How can you be a veteran if you only spent one day in the mob? Plenty join up and pack it in after a few days or weeks which is fine but to regard them as veterans makes a bit of a ...

Tony : what app are you using for your match chats ? Zoom ?
So someone needs to volunteer to set up the individual groups . Any south west clarets out there interested ?
Shall we have a poll of interested bods as we may not have enough for the little groups . It’s all a bit new to me

I moved down aged 10 to live in a slum in whittlefield. All my Dundee compatriots lived on trafalgar flats but they were far from friendly to even us fellow dundonians.
