Re: Xpert11 - Clarets Championship - Recruiting for Season 56

I've been playing this game for 17 years now, and it's a great little time-waster.

Would definitely give it a go if you've never tried it. If you're a 'lapsed' addict, we'd also love to welcome you back.

Re: Boris Johnson moved to intensive care

Absolutely spot on. That's how the thread on the previous evening was ruined and why political debate is going to be stopped on this board. We are in a crisis currently and a lot of people are seriously worried about it. It has nothing to do with party politics at all and I am astonished at some of...

Re: Xpert11 - Clarets Championship - Recruiting for Season 55

I've been playing this game for yonks now, and it's still just as fun as when I started (in 2003). It's a nice little game. Doesn't take too long out of your busy schedule - and if like me you're climbing the walls due to lockdown you could kill some of that time, then why not give it a bash - there...

So we've got a 80+ post thread arguing about whether he was a good buy based on completely unfounded speculation that hasn't been confirmed by anyone within the club, about an injury that may well turn out to be as a result of an assault and therefore completely unforeseen by the club.

As much as it may 'set a precedent' I just can't see any club tactically overspending, purposefully going bust, failing to field a side and getting their fixtures suspended, then starting a division below with a completely untried XI.
