I enjoyed the match last night.

The gulf in class between our lot and the Americans reminded me of watching Burnley play a big 6 side, so in a way I was right at home cheering on England.

I don't understand why it is considered 'arrogant' for the football club to made an appropriate offer to the cricket club to relocate. Nobody is forcing the CC to accept the offer. Or is nobody allowed to offer to buy land off anyone else any more in case it offends them?

This was seriously hard. Barnes is my favourite player in our current squad and it hurts me to leave him out, but I've plumped for Ings and Vokes. I expect after a few months of the season when everyone has got used to it all this 'VAR controversy' media talk will calm down.

Most of the time the 'controversy' is because of how the players/coaches have reacted to a perfectly accurate video ref decision.
