But seriously, on topic - this post epitomises what I perceive as wrong with the modern game. A jumper from Gibson Sports used to cost me...

Enjoy as in fun times? Then It would be all the managers that encapsulated 80-86. Ups and downs. Mainly downs but wonderful fun. Free run at most grounds. Seeeing most grounds towns and cities for the first time. Learning who the loyal supporters were, and turning up en masse of sorts, unexpected. N...

As a cunning linguist you have to realise that language develops. Each year the lexicographers introduce more words into our dictionaries. Most of ‘em ******** as Chaucer would say.

Let’s just enjoy what we can, when we can, whatever the division eh? I’ve lived the football rollercoaster from top to bottom to top”ish” like many on here. But surely it’s about our enjoyment..... There’s many that aren’t around now that had wonderful lives enjoying watching Burnley at lower levels...

It HAS to be called The Longside by the next or current sponsor. Let’s try and keep some connection to the atmosphere we once had - and hopefully at some time we can generate the same passion and noise. Without being wrapped around a barrier during a large surge.
