Re: So who had the best and worst transfer window

Everton and Liverpool the best for me - the quality of the players they’ve bought in are top drawer. Not sure how in what way the OP suggests Everton haven’t addressed their shortcomings. Fulham, Wolves and to a lesser extent Brighton will be interesting. Personally I think Brighton will do well bec...

Re: ARTICLE: We had to bolt together a team and come somewhere like this

Full credit to Dyche. The team showed a lot of grit. Poor with the ball and occasionally reckless in possession, but so committed to keeping a clean sheet I felt confident throughout. Played the right team, the much maligned likes of Walters and Bardsley offer good experience at this level. The only...

You'd have thought after this summer long chase that we'd given up by now if there wasn't some genuine interest at the other end.

I wonder whether Vokes and Jay Rod in a cash+swap deal would make more sense given West Brom have lost Rondon.

Would be a great signing. Another quick winger. Is very direct and tricky. Perfect. With Vydra also means we dont need a centre midfielder as Hendrick can drop into his best position. He'd probably take an early flight back Hendrickxz.

We could keep Vokes, West Brom could just take Crouch and we could save the merry-go-rounding.

Vokes' proven record in the Championship - was it 22 the first promotion and 15 odd the second one - surely worth £10m.
