In terms of staff, very much so. It was a local journalist who reported that Hodge had gone and, believe it or not, I got the exclusive on Ally Beattie going. The club don’t report stuff like that now although they did announce that Dyche and his team had gone. 😀😀 Was any reason given for needing a...

Re: Where is Sean going to pop up?
You might want to include the little matter of the end of the maximum wage into those statistics. It could have been the death knell for Burnley. It very nearly was. The last ten years have been incredible for the club and town and Dyche was a major part of that. He never liked Dyche. He was consta...

Re: Where is Sean going to pop up?
We were so successful under Dyche that there is now a young generation of Burnley fans who assume we're a "natural" kind of tier 1 / tier 2 club. For them, it's the "norm". For a few others, the continued 'success' of staying in the PL erodes the context that older fans might have. It's difficult t...

Not a cat in hells chance will the old firm fans tolerate Dyche, his style of football and the players he targets. I do hope he gets a job soon so he can get off our wage bill and we can finally get rid of all things Dyche from the club. You do realise that you're unlikely to see a manager at Burnl...

I dare say that’s the case but we still seem to have rolled over and accepted the first offer on the table. A real air of desperation about this transfer. Who knows? I had many good chats with Barrie when I used to travel with the SC. A really top bloke who was always willing to help, but at the same time, not afraid to speak his mind when he needed to.
RIP Barrie.

I was just thinking whether Mee and Tarkowski are the best two centre halves I've seen at Burnley. One could certainly make an argument for Keane, and who knows, maybe Collins will go on to be a legend in his own right, but for now, these two will be a hard act to follow. If they'd both stayed fit a...
