Re: The type of fans we want

It looks like many of our fans said the same on Thursday and meant it, there must have been at least 4000 empty seats today for the first PL home game, shocking support really and atmosphere non existent as usual.

Re: Chris Wood

Problem for us is that we are not good enough as a team to carry a goal poacher. The likes of wood and gray leave us 10 against 11 everywhere else on the pitch. We don’t have the squad to support this type of player until Brady and Defour return with that little extra quality. It is easy to say we ...

Bring brady defour and Vydra into the mix and it’s a different story. Stop over reacting. I'm not overreacting, we are playing 2 games a week without a winger or a central midfielder on the bench. Everton struggled early doors. It was only due to Everton having a big squad that they kicked on in the new year. We have not got the depth and quality to sustain a European campaign. The lads were dead on their feet 2nd half, and God knows what state they will be in next Sunday after a trip to Gre...

pace, trickery, goals from wide areas, do we have any of this?

Richarlidson has scored the same amount of league goals (3) in 2 games for Everton than JBG has in 2 years for us. 3 league goals in 2 seasons simply isn't good enough.

After that performance you can see why we wanted Deeney, better than anything we have upfront. A hybrid of all our 3 fit strikers. Excellent cross for the first goal, some great pass and move and a very good finish for his goal.
