An upgrade on Crouch would be pointless, if we are to spend decent money we should look at an upgrade on our best strikers. Either that or unearth a young striker with PL potential.

if it were possible I'd limit the number of players that a club could loan out. This may stop them buying what they don't really need and possibly release on to the market players who could improve lower table squads.

Actually they only conceded 2 more than we did this season.

Whilst defence may not be Eddie's strong point he seems to have an eye for potentially good defenders and is willing to take a chance on them.

5 in midfield would help. the main issue in my opinion is ball retention, we bring a lot of pressure on ourselves.

Stamina, perhaps rather than fitness. stamina comes with age (well until you get to my age :D )

Much as i have to accept that the PL is where it's at I can't help but think that my happiest days following BFC have been our successes at lower levels.
Our resurgence under Jimmy Mullen and Stan Ternent will live long in my memory,.

unfortunately, yes, it has become just that. And unless something is done to spread the TV money more evenly through the leagues this is how it will remain.
We're doing well just to survive at this level, but we all know it won't last forever unless we get bought by a billionaire!

I'm sure we all agree that the striker we need to sign is one who will compete with Barnes and Wood for a starting place. In my opinion, anything short of that is a waste of money.

No problem with this, he deserves it.
However, I would like to see us take a bit of a chance on young players with a possible sell-on value, and try to use under 21s to augment the squad.
Hopefully we won't need 5 senior goalkeepers next season, perhaps 3 will be enough.

It's not a finale, so shouldn't be seen that way. Everything has been left open to possibility so they can sell another series (or two!). All got a bit stupid in my opinion, but nothing surpasses the stupid story line where that cop played by Thandy Newton watches her own arm drop off!

I'd have Silva here over Dyche any day of the week, completely different levels of coaching. I knew Silva was a good en when he went into a rank bad Hull side without cash to spend and after 2 or 3 loan additions he had them up as one of the best sides in the division for the 2nd half of the season...
