Re: Southampton

Shocking defensively, absolutely shocking. They got away with a couple of slips in the first half, but we punished them for each and every mistake second half. If I was a Saints fan, I'd be worried about the way they collapsed after the first went in. Gunn - suspect Stephens - poor Vestegaard - dism...

Re: Pieters starts

Thought Pieters had a great debut. He plays quite narrow and was shaky to begin with, but he grew into the game well and he fits into our system perfectly. A cracking assist as well. Charlie Taylor will find it tough to get back in. Sadly though, there is one negative to this. Hibsclaret will be cre...

Norwich are a neat side but they must learn from this and establish a solidity if they are to achieve anything close to 17th position this season.

It’s only their first game but their manager has got to learn quickly.

If he's getting his mate Woany up to join him in berating the fourth official, the decision has probably gone against us

Danny Drinkwater is unquestionably the better midfield player. They're similar in that their game is based around moving the ball on quickly, but Drinkwater has more energy, is more mobile and snaps into tackles with more intent. That's not to say Aaron Mooy isn't good, because he is. He was very ef...

Doesn't have much height but neither did a midfield pair of Drinkwater and Kante, and that won the league.
