If we offload a few of the older lads (Hart, Defour, Crouch, Bardsley), then there's room in the squad for one more experienced player. Cahill would be a good signing if Tarkowski goes.

Norwich are a hell of a lot better than Fulham were last season. As good as they are on the ball, on par with Fulham, they also press fantastically well as a team and are masters at winning the ball back in that league. Fulham were simply pretty on the eye.

Sergi Canos is the one I'd sign from Brentford. He's got some magic in his boots that boy, and has been known to play wing-back too, so must be at least half-decent at the defensive side of the game. Don't forget this is a United side who had the lowest running stats earlier in the season. And it's not like they had the ball all the time either, under Mourinho they were very much a defensive side. The attitude of their players really does stink to high heaven, epitomised by the odious Paul Pogba.

We are a selling club, but we only sell players at the peak of their value. Dwight McNeil is absolutely not at the peak of his value yet.

The good old physical 442 worked for a spell, as when we brought it back it was something different, but it very quickly gets found at this level. Managers at this level are far too tactically astute.
